Statistics have been tabulated for real estate transactions in the Des Moines area for April 2012.
Home sales are up 20% over April 2011.
Home sales are up 5% over March 2012.
Pending sales were up 23% in April 2012 over 2011.
Average home sale price was up. ($164,847).
Average number of days on the market was down. (116 days).
Inventory of homes for sale is down (983 fewer than one year ago).
“We’re four months into 2012 and all the key real estate indicators are ahead of last year’s stats over the same period of time,” said Ken Clark, president of Des Moines Area Association of Realtors. “Now is a great time to buy or sell real estate” said the Eisenlauer Team. “Give Bill (770-2455) or Bob (979-2883) a call if you’re ready.”
